Easy Going Engagement Sessions
Getting engaged is a huge milestone in a couple’s relationship proving how much love they have for each other and the commitment they are ready to make. After the initial engagement, the stress may set in. Where are we going have the wedding, when will it take place, who will we invite, what food will we eat and the big question of how much money is it going to cost? There is a lot of pressure on the couple and may cause tension between them. Unfortunately, you can sometimes see this stress come out in the engagement session. It is hard to display your authentic love for each other when you feel stressed or feeling uncomfortable.
The best advice to keep your engagement session easy going and fun for both people is to decide together the location and theme of the session. The engagement should not just be a place that will be a nice background. Treat your engagement session as a date. Pick somewhere you both feel comfortable and can have fun. When you trust your photographer, we can get great photos anywhere!
Amy and Alex decided to have their engagement session at a gold course. When I asked Amy if they golfed together, she said that Alex golfed by himself and to spend more time together she decided to start. In a healthy relationship both people want to time together and find hobbies together. Since this was a comfortable environment for both Amy and Alex you can see how much fun they had through their photos. When they look back at these photos, they won’t remember the challenges of the day or the small arguments that may have arisen during the session. Instead, they will be reminded of the beautiful memories they created together on the golf course. These images will reflect the joy, the laughter, and the love that has always been the foundation of their enduring marriage—a love that continues to grow stronger with each passing year.
